Cubano Bar opens in Meriton PRESS RELEASE Meriton Hotels Group OÜ 20 July 2012 Cuban bar now in the centre of Tallinn The Cubano Bar opened its doors in the Meriton Grand Conference & Spa Hotel. The menu consists of Spanish and Cuban dishes as well as pizzas. In terms of drinks, the emphasis is on cocktails. Lively Cuban music and our bright-eyed staff give us a glimpse of the lost grandeur of Cuba and make the bar into a great place to visit. The terrace is also open in summer. The opening party of the Cubano Bar was held on 19 July and music for the entire night was provided by DJ Enrique from Cuba. Enrique also showed how to roll cigars and ended the party with dance practice – almost a half of the guests were brave enough to put their dancing skills to the test. A mix of Cuban rumba and salsa by professional dancers added some zest to the opening night. The chefs of the Meriton made a huge paella, the dessert was a mouth-watering mango cake made by the confectioners of the Meriton and the night ended with Café Fidel – Veronesi Espresso with dark Jamaican rum. The bar is open every day from 8 am to midnight. The Meriton Grand Conference & Spa Hotel belongs to the Meriton Hotels Group.
